Orgin Story

My passion for nutrition and wellness stems from a deep awareness of the rising rates of chronic disease in the United States. As I watched more people struggling to find real solutions to their health challenges, I knew that something had to change. Many individuals simply don’t have the time to sift through the overwhelming amount of health information available or advocate for themselves in a complex healthcare system. I wanted to be that advocate—to bridge the gap between knowledge and action.

With this mission in mind, I enrolled at the Nutritional Therapy Institute in 2018 as a distance learner. Over the course of four years, I dedicated myself to understanding how holistic nutrition can be used to support those navigating chronic illness and disease. Today, as a Certified Holistic Nutrition Master, my goal is to empower others with the tools and strategies they need to take control of their health, even when life makes it difficult to do so.

My Path to Now

  • Born and Raised

I grew up in the town of Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Here is where I learned many important life long lessons and developed many life passions. Being in the forest and on the lake is how I grew into the person I am today. “If you study nature outside of yourself, you will learn to understand the nature within yourself”

  • Education and Empowerment Process

My undergraduate work took place at the University of Maine at Farmington (UMF). A small university nestled in central western Maine. Here I studied under an amazing group of professors and colleagues from 2006-2011. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Community Health and Planning.

  • Present Time

In 2016, I decided to further my studies in the realm of health care and enrolled at the Nutrition Therapy Institute (NTI) as a distance learner. For several years I lived out of my van dedicating my life to my studies, surfing and sustaining a minimalistic lifestyle. During this time, I was able to purely connect with my studies and the ocean, honing both crafts. Soon after, I received my certificate of completion and now have the pleasure to offer my expertise as a Nutritional Master Therapist (NMT).
